Spianare la strada all’utilizzo di sensori curvi
Dato che la digitalizzazione interessa la gran parte dei mercati, la necessità di sensori dotati di maggiore affidabilità è salita alle stelle. I sensori curvi e altri registratori di immagini correlati possono offrire vantaggi a diversi settori, sia industriali che scientifici. Malgrado ciò, i modelli attuali non sono convenienti e risultano difficili da produrre in serie. Il progetto CURVE-X, finanziato dall’UE, si propone di spianare la strada a sensori curvi di uso comune che è possibile produrre in serie. Tale obiettivo sarà raggiunto sviluppando un prototipo per conseguire una migliore ripetibilità e una più semplice industrializzazione. Il progetto punta inoltre a convalidarne l’uso come strumento scientifico e nell’ambito dell’astronomia amatoriale e professionale.
Obiettivo
Pillar II of the ERC-STG-ICARUS aimed at paving the way to a common use of curved sensors for cost-effective imaging systems, through prototyping and recommendation for mass production. The next steps towards commercialisation and industrialisation are proposed in this PoC project to: improve the repeatability, prepare the industrialisation, realise market studies and outline a business plan. We create the start-up CURVE-ONE for the valorisation towards scientific instrumentation and amateur astronomy. The project has the positive support of potentiel clients and will be done with the help of CNRS-Innovation as a third party and the OPTITEC photonics competitiveness cluster to enhance the impact on industry.
