The job ad is aimed to recruit a person who fulfills the following criteria: i) managerial experience from a prestigious academic or life-science industry institution; ii) broad international collaboration with verifiable contacts; iii) leadership of large national, international or European scientific projects; iv) excellent values of scientometric indicators; v) experience with research group or research programs leadership; vi) vast experience with doctoral and post-doctoral mentoring; vii) current scientific activity in genomic cancer research including facilities and competence for DNA sequencing and related bioinformatics. The job advertisement will be published in English language and disseminated by multiple channels for announcement of job positions in research community.

Final report on evaluation and ERA Chair holder selection

The task leader will elaborate the final report including the text of the vacancy notice, places of publication, composition of the selection panel, CVs of applicants, minutes of selection panel meeting(s) as well as any other document allowing for a full assessment of the openness of the selection procedureof ERA Chair holder selection process at the end of M6.

CUNI recruitment manual

The complete recruitment procedure will be recorded by each procedural step and presented as a feasibility study at the Project Board meeting (M6) and after approval of Project Coordinator disseminated to other faculties of CUNI in order to spread the ERA recruitment principles. This pilot experience will be transferred into an internal recruitment manual to be further applied widely across the faculties and departments of CUNI.

Report on ERA Research Club events

ERA Research Club will be organized under the auspices of the ERA Chair holder as part of the development and support activities of young researchers at CUNI. The progress of the ERA Research club will be reported. Report on ERA Chairs Club Events is intended not only as a summary of the Club Events themselves, but also as a report on their perceived impact on the research environment, including feedback of the attendees etc. Submission to EK M15, 30, 45, 60.

Report on career advisory and Career Development Guidelines

The ERA Chair holder will set up a young researcher counseling platform for career development of novice researchers where they could learn from hisher experience either through focused seminars or personal meetingsThe progress of the career advisory activities will be regularly reported and the last report will include also the final form of the Career Development GuidelinesSubmission to EK M30 45 60

Project Events 1

Official project website

The project website will be created based on the structure defined in the Plan for dissemination of knowledge transfer, including additional tools such as event registration, links with CUNI/FMP/BC websites and internal/employee access portal. The official launch is planned for the M4, with M3-M4 testing and modification period. Templates of project documentation (e.g. presentation, internal report, work and action plans, event invitation and flyer, attendance list) for operational use will be designed and stored for use on implementation on a defined internal portal on the project site.
