Leistungen

Global CCU infrastructure market assessment

A high level mapping of the current CCU industry and technologies should be performed The need for experimental infrastructure of CCU technologies with future commercial and sustainability impact potential should be assessed

Final report on access pilots

The quality of the services, provided by the access pilots to target ECCSEL ERIC facilities, developed in WP3, will be monitored by the leader of the WP, during the three years of the project, on the basis of the indicators setting up in M3.2. This deliverable will report all the findings of this monitoring activity, taking into account the feedbacks received from the users, with particular focus dedicated to the outcomes of industrial stakeholder. This will guide possible adjustments in the service provided by ECCSEL ERIC and assure the sustainability and continuous improvement of ECCSEL ERIC services, better tailoring them to user needs.

Industrial services Model - Input to WP2

The implementation and service model for accommodating industrial facility users will be reviewed and improved based on industry input from the workshops Access should be arranged as simple as possible but with a clear view and agreed implementation of the interest of all stakeholders involved

Synergy potential of CO2 utilisation and alignment strategy for CCUS

Based on sustainable development criteria a realistic view on CCUS and CCS will be developed by an assessment of their synergy potential throughout Europe and beyond The value compatibility and potential implications of extending ECCSELs scope to include CCUS will be assessed The deliverable will identify potential synergies distinctions and the RI overlap between CCUS and ECCSEL ERIC

Report on ECCSEL ERIC information packs for funders and coordination bodies and their impact

This deliverable will document the ECCSEL ERIC Information Packs tailored to addressing the specific perspectives and requirements of external funding bodiescoordination groupsRIs The Information Packs will be used to aid discussions and gain agreement to collaborate with ECCSEL ERIC in a meaningful and effective way

Final report on capacity building, training and education activities

This report will provide information on the activities performed in Task 3 of this work-package. It will present the developed set of innovative capacity building activities to implement access services and, more generally, to attract industrial and research community users. It will also describe the developed new training programme tailored to the needs of existing and potential new users (see WP1, WP2, WP4 and WP5), to support the access pilots (Task 3.2) and how the programme strongly supports the new services developed. It will describe and summarise the specific workshops on CCUS that have been organised in conjunction with existing popular summer schools and how those raised awareness of ECCSEL ERIC. It will also summarise the tailored training courses, workshops and seminars that have been organised to attract new users, Early Career Researchers (ECRs), and industrial and SME user groups to ECCSEL ERIC (delivered face-to-face and using online methods e.g. live training sessions (webinars), on-line dissemination material, to widely promote ECCSEL ERIC, to better train its users, and widen its reach). It will also detail how ECCSEL ERIC is invest in education, linking its capacity-building programme to educational programmes, and including doctoral candidates, technical staff and students in the research activities performed within ECCSEL facilities.

Implementation of the industrial services model (from WP1)

The services model developed in WP1 will be implemented by the facility owners and be an integral part of the services provided to the users. This report will monitor the implementation of the model and identify any bottlenecks or showstoppers for the implementation work.

Report on improved access framework

The ECCSEL ERIC access framework will be implemented and adapted to improve the services offered and its uptake by users (especially industry). In this report, starting from the needs of different user groups (e.g. academia, business, industry and public services), and taking into account the inputs provided by WP1 and WP2 on expected services and innovation, a new access framework will be developed. Particularly, this deliverable defines bespoke solutions and good practice in services among RIs that will be shared to promote international cooperation, to implement sharing of results, to improve the level of research and strengthen the attractiveness of ECCSEL ERIC within the ERA. Finally, the effects of the adopted solutions will be reviewed and progressively refined on the basis of the access pilots outcomes.

Updated ECCSEL ERIC Research Priorities

Building on the current ECCSEL Research Strategy which sets out the research and infrastructure priorities for CO2 storage and CO2 transport the document will be updated to reflect changes in European drivers and initiates and then work with the ECCSEL RICC to refresh the gap analysis and critically focus on developing industry research and infrastructure requirements for CO2 capture As well as refreshing the Strategy itself it provides a framework to steer the conceptual design study in WP24
