HS-3 campaign at Tiller

A document will be delivered, describing the HS-3 solvent test campaign at SINTEF's Tiller pilot plant, including procedures and results (T2.3).

Project innovation management

A document including description of innovations management strategy to keep confidentiality of data and knowhow to a minimum to publish results as much as possible to facilitate wide uptake of innovations by different stakeholders

Tiller plant modification and validation of CCLU

A document will be submitted including the design and description of the bench-scale (10 Nm3/hr) CO2 compression and liquefaction unit (CCLU) at the SINTEF's Tiller pilot plant. Risk assessment, validation procedures and results from the tests using degraded 30wt% aqueous MEA solution from an earlier project will be described (T2.1).

Synthesis report on societal readiness

Synthesis of work conducted within WP4, drawing broad-based conclusions on the societal readiness of the REALISE approach (T4.6).

Critical review of EPE initiatives

Review of education and public engagement EPE associated with large energy and related infrastructure Report will include case studies outlining methods adopted exploring key challenges and presenting examples of best practice T41

Synthesis report on full CCUS chain for business case in S. Korea

A document including the results from techno-economic assessment societal readiness of the CCUS chain for REALISE business case in MI country-2 (T6.2). The report will include description of the business case and assumptions.

HS-3 campaign at the Irving refinery

A document including the description of the HS-3 solvent test campaign at Irving refinery, procedures and results (T2.3).

TEA of full-scale capture plant

Results from the Techno-Economic assessment of REALISE business cases will be presented and explained. The report will include description of the simulation tools, assumptions and conclusions (T3.1).

Synthesis report on full CCUS chain for business case in China

A document including the results from techno-economic assessment and societal readiness of the CCUS chain for REALISE business case in China (T6.1) will be delivered. The report will include description of the business case and assumptions.

Social acceptability framework

Report detailing the development and trialling of a tailored education and public engagement programme (in the context of the Cork case study) aimed at contributing to greater social acceptability for CCS (T4.2).

Quantification of emissions and CO2 quality

A document describing procedures and results from test campaigns at SINTEF's Tiller pilot plant focusing on identification and quantification of emissions, solvent degradation products and CO2 quality (T2.4) will be delivered.

Integration of CO2 capture plant in refineries

A document describing potential integration options for a full-scale capture plant at refineries selected for REALISE business cases (T3.1) based on results obtained in WP1 and WP2 will be delivered.

Exploitation plan (annually updated)

A document describing the project outcomes and a plan for exploitation to facilitate the uptake of CCUS technologies in relevant industrial sectors. A number of specific market applications are foreseen (refinery sector, bio-refinery, value for low carbon) (T5.5).

Assessment of injection profile and infrastructure requirements to control & monitor of transportation pipelines and intermediate storage vessels

A report on the implications of the injection profile in the storage reservoir on the design of the transport and storage system, including recommendations for monitoring and controlling system performance (T3.3).

Report on outreach activities

A document summarising the outreach activities held by REALISE for different stakeholder, e.g. mini seminars and research based learning activities (T4.5).

Report on industrial networking activities

A summary document describing the industrial networking activities and Industry club, performed within Task 4.4. during the project lifetime, will be delivered.

Synthesis report on full CCUS chain for European business cases

A report describing the results from the assessment CCUS business case in Europe. The report will include the capture, utilization, transport, storage and societal readiness index for the Cork cluster (Ireland) (T3.5)

Assessment of options to provide such flexibility in the design and operation of the transport and storage network

A report on the options for the transport and storage system to provide flexibility to accommodate variations in the supply of CO2 (T3.3).

Solvent management strategy

A document including an overview of the solvent management strategies investigated and selected for the refinery use cases for the optimal solvent from Task 1.1 (Task 1.2).

Communication & Dissemination plan and strategy (annually updated)

Analysis of socio-political considerations of CCS

An examination of the socio-political conditions and regulatory environment that enable the successful deployment of CCS, and an analysis of the implications of this review of the realisation of CCS an EU refineries such as Whitegate in Ireland (T4.3).

Data Management plan (annually updated)

A data management plan (DMP) will describe the data management life cycle for the data to be collected, processed and generated by the project and will ensure that research data are findable, accessible, interoperable and re-usable (T5.4).
