Scientific analysis of risks concerning transmissible diseases relating to tourism and travel
The European Commission, DG V, has published an invitation to tender concerning the scientific analysis of risks concerning transmissible diseases relating to tourism and travel. The Commission wants to obtain specific knowledge of preventive and prophylactic practices developed in the EU's Member States to deal with transmissible diseases acquired during trips made outside the EU, either in a tourist or professional context. The Commission expects that the study will be completed by way of a 12-month contract, commencing in the fourth quarter of 1998.
