Survey on Internet services for the new "Creating a user-friendly Information Society" programme
The European Commission, DG XIII, has published a questionnaire aimed at identifying users' views and requirements for Internet information services for the proposed thematic programme "Creating a user-friendly Information Society" within the Fifth Framework Programme. The Internet is currently an integral part of the general communications strategy of the corresponding programmes (ESPRIT, ACTS and Telematics Applications) under the Fourth Framework Programme, involving information dissemination, demonstration and communication with its audiences. The survey forms a part of the process of identifying users' requirements in order to meet the goals of the programme better. The results of this questionnaire will be one input to the advice given to the Commission by an external expert team on the Web communications strategy and objectives for the new programme.
