The Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS), part of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre, has published an invitation to tender concerning a methodological study, as well as case studies, to analyse the impact of EU regulation on innovation in European industry. The case studies should have an international and comparative dimension. Four studies are required on the following: - Methodological approaches to regulation and innovation studies (lasting six months); - Regulation and innovation in the chemical industry (lasting ten months); - Regulation and innovation in the area of end-of-life vehicles (lasting seven months); - The impact of Single Market Regulations on innovation (lasting ten months).
