Pilot programme to test the quality of drinking water
The European Commission, DG XXIV, has published an invitation to tender for a pilot programme to test the quality of drinking water. It will involve a one-year programme of technical checks, analysis and comparison of the quality of drinking water (tap and bottled water) in eleven cities in France, Germany, Greece, The Netherlands and Ireland. The final report should be submitted within 18 months.
