Published authorizations for State aid, pursuant to Articles 92 and 93 of the EEC Treaty (cases where the Commission raises no objections), include the following RTD-related subjects: - Germany: Rational energy use and renewable energy sources (Baden-Wurttemberg), 1991-1992, State aid of ECU 5.5 million; Grants for the use of hydro-electricity (Sachsen-Anhalt), 1992-1994, ECU 1.55 million; Grants for the thermal use of solar energy (Sachsen-Anhalt), 1992, ECU 325,000; Grants for the planning and construction of installations for the extraction of natural gas from purification plants and waste dumps (Sachsen-Anhalt), 1992-1994, ECU 1.75 million; Grants stimulating energy consultancy measures (Sachsen-Anhalt), 1992-1994, ECU 1.5 million per annum; Grants stimulating the replacement of energy carriers used in heating installations up to 100 kW, 1992-1994, ECU 1 million per annum. - France: Breton Pure Water Multiannual Programme, total aid of ECU 27.4 million to 1997. - Spain: Vocational training programme (Aragon), 1991, ECU 3.6 million; Vocational training programmes (Andalusia), 1992, ECU 59 million. - Portugal: Vocational training programme, budget and duration to be determined.
