The European Commission, DG XIII, has published an invitation to tender for a study to evaluate the impact of digital broadcasting (terrestrial and satellite) systems and services on education and training.

Starting from an analysis of the current state-of-the-art, the study will identify any education and training focused activities which are using or planning to make use of these technologies, and the main actors in the field. It will also report on the economic viability of the planned services.

The study should be completed within four months.
