Evaluating proposals under the Fifth Framework programme
The European Commission, DG XIII, has published prior information on the administrative and logistical support that will be required for evaluating proposals submitted under the upcoming Fifth RTD Framework Programme. These services will be required to assist the Commission in the document receipt registration, data-entry, database, operations and facility management as well as logistical organisation tasks. These services will be provided for all the specific programmes of the Framework Programme and will be executed in the evaluation facility made available by the Commission. Given that the programmes will have frequent focused calls with particular deadlines, as well as continuous submission for certain types of proposals, the services will need to be permanently available and able to manage an uneven workload with peaks in certain periods.
