The European Commission, DG VII, has published an invitation to tender for services relating to a scheme for the organisation and enhancement of the exchange of information on national and European strategies for RTD on intermodal transfer points in view of its dissemination to the Member States and to all interested parties.

The contract would involve three particular aspects:

- To provide organisational and technical support to a steering committee to be created, composed of representatives of Member States, European organisations and industry;
- To collect and analyse existing material including a short inventory of the state-of-the-art, building on earlier findings both at national and European level and to identify and select best practice cases together with the European Commission, in close cooperation with industry and operators;
- To establish a comprehensive approach to disseminating results from the concertation activities.

The contract would run for a period of fifteen months.
