Analysis of UO2-ZrO2 mixtures
The European Commission's Joint Research Centre has published an invitation to tender for the provision of services for the analysis of samples of UO2-ZrO2 mixtures in order to determine their composition. The study would be conducted from solid samples to determine the composition of UO2 and Zr02 oxides, indicating the percentage of each of the two components to 0.01%, with a total percentage error (for both components) of less than 0.5%. The possible impurities, principally metals and/or carbon, must be identified and quantified. The duration of the framework contract will be one year, renewable for a further three years.
