European research projects on view
The Innovation programme run by DG XIII of the European Commission has recently published Spotlight on European Research, an overview of 50 projects funded by Community programmes. A detailed project description, the aims, methods and results are given in short articles. The selection includes examples from a variety of research programmes, from BIOTECH 2 to TIDE1, from EURATOM to the INNOVATION programme. The publication demonstrates Europe's capacity for innovation and the role European research plays in increasing competitiveness and quality of life.
