Technical coal research projects in 1998
A further 38 coal research projects costing ECU 28 million are to be funded by the European Commission under the terms of the European Coal and Steel Community Treaty. The additional funding was agreed by the Council of the European Union at a meeting on 24 November 1998. The funding is divided between ECU 27,367,772 under the ECSC research programme and ECU 632 228 for additional research and dissemination of information and related costs.
