Energy efficiency in the EU - SAVE II call for proposals 1999
The European Commission has issued a call for proposals for the promotion of energy efficiency in the European Community. This call includes proposals for studies aimed at the implementation and completion of Community-wide measures taken to improve energy efficiency. Other areas where proposals are called for are: - sectoral targeted pilot actions aimed at accelerating energy efficiency investment - measures to foster the exchange of experience aimed at promoting better co- ordination between international, Union, national., regional and local activities by appropriate means of information dissemination - actions monitoring the progress of energy efficiency within the Community and Member States - specific actions in favour of creation of energy management agencies at regional and urban level.
