FAIR advances the European Information Society
The FAIR Project has published the subject report "Constructing the European Information Society", which comprises a series of executive summaries based on the results of 50 Working Papers covering the subjects of competition, employment, growth, regional and societal impacts. To develop the preferred "Balanced Option" scenario for the European Information Society, the report recommends stimulation of technical innovation, strategic support for research and technological development, and the dynamism of business users, as well as policy action in the public sector.
