Commission gives advanced information on LEONARDO DA VINCI evaluation
The European Commission, DG XXII, Education, Training and Youth, has published advanced information for an invitation to tender for evaluation of the first phase of the LEONARDO DA VINCI Community Programme. The objective of this call for tender is an evaluation of the first phase (1995-1999) of the LEONARDO DA VINCI Programme for vocational training. The results of the external evaluation, together with reports from participating states, will be used by the Commission when it prepares its final report on the programme. The evaluation will mainly cover the implementation, the output and the impact of the programme in all participating states and at Community level. The analysis will be made from a European perspective and could include economic, institutional, organisational and financial dimensions of the programme. The results of the first phase of the programme will be analysed within its own terms of reference, but also with a view to the emerging structures of the second phase of LEONARDO DA VINCI. The provisional date for the call will be March or April 1999. This call will be open to all tenderers from the European Union and is covered by the agreement on calls for tender concluded by the World Trade Organisation.
