Pre-information given on electromagnetic compatibility study
Advanced information from the European Commission, DG III, Unit D/1, on a call for proposals for an electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) study has appeared in the Official Journal. The purpose of this study is to obtain the parameters relevant for the determination of electromagnetic environments and related essential requirements to take account of already existing features given in standards. It will serve to better define essential requirements regarding the EMC Directive. The estimated budget for this study is 100,000 euro. The estimated date for initiating the award procedure is 15 March 1999. This prior information notice is only indicative.
