PANACEAresearch (www.panacearesearch.eu) launches new website to move beyond the state of the art in cybersecurity healthcare
Reports show cyberattacks are on the rise and healthcare is one of the biggest targets. Globally, healthcare reported more cybersecurity breaches than any other industry in 2018. With deadly cyberattacks lurking in many forms, healthcare cybersecurity tools are more essential than ever before. This is where PANACEAresearch comes into play. The initiative’s website (https://www.panacearesearch.eu(odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)) will host the innovative solutions that will be developed during the project lifetime (January 2019 through December 2021) and beyond. The solutions will enable healthcare facilities to assess the nature and severity of a threat, and sustainably decide to adopt strategies to strengthen its preparedness and response. As an added value, the website is hosting a Lookout Watch (https://www.panacearesearch.eu/watch(odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)) which acts as an “observatory” of relevant news concerning the state-of-the-art of cybersecurity in the healthcare domain but also emerging trends and new technologies and approaches. As part of the Lookout Watch, PANACEAresearch is also hosting a space for open and broad conversation where users, cybersecurity experts and workers in the healthcare sector can share insights and points of discussion, give feedback and contribute to boost security in healthcare.
