EOTC launches E-mail discussion forums
The European Organisation for Conformity Assessment (EOTC) has launched a "Critical Issues" E-mail discussion forum to develop the subjects raised at a recent series of EOTC "critical issues" workshops and to open up the debate to all interested parties. The "Critical Issues" discussion forum is operated through an E-mail distribution list and a Web bulletin board. Anyone interested in joining the forum can register via the following web address: URL: http://www.eotc.be/Forum/Main_Forum.htm(odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie) The EOTC has set up the following discussion forums: - The Marking Discussion Forum: This is a public forum that has been created to follow up the results of the EOTC Marking workshop and broaden the scope of the discussion to all relevant players in the conformity-assessment field; - One Stop Testing Discussion Forum: This has restricted membership and aims to establish a position paper for EOTC consistency with the major global players in the field. The group will aim to: - - Record the different initiatives in this field; - - Assess their compatibility in terms of philosophy, terminology and systems; - - Identify success stories in the field; - - Report with recommendations. The EOTC will also launch a publicly available Discussion Forum to explore and expand this topic, and support the work of the "One Stop Testing Group".
