Procedures for the provision of information in the field of technical standards and regulations
A Commission proposal for a Council Directive (COM(92) 491 of 27.11.1992) seeks to amend, for the second time, Directive 83/189/EEC which lays down a procedure for the provision of information in the field of technical standards and regulations. Major amendments to Articles 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 as well as to the Annex are proposed. A list of European standardization bodies as well as of national standardization bodies in the Member States is appended to the proposal.
