Pre-information on call for remote-sensing control
The European Commission, Joint Research Centre (JRC), Agriculture and Regional Information Systems Unit, has published advance information on an invitation to tender for quality checks of remote-sensing control operations. Quality checks are necessary on the results provided by JRC contractors on the remote-sensing-based control operation on farmers' declarations on claims for arable land subsidies as part of the Unit's support to DG VI (Agriculture). The work will be supervised by the MARS (Monitoring of Agriculture by Remote Sensing) project of the JRC and will be carried out over six defined geographical sites.
