The German Federal Environment Ministry is organising a European Youth Contest on sustainable development for young people aged 16 to 25.

Projects should be linked to the motto "Keep the Earth in Balance" and present ways to preserve water, air, soil, and other natural resources, encouraging others to follow their example.

Projects involving more than one country are especially welcome and participants can win prizes worth 5000 euro and a three-day trip to Berlin.
