Steel Action Plan: A new impulse for R&D&I in the EU steel sector

ESTEP, the European Steel Technology Platform, welcomes the "Action Plan for a competitive and sustainable steel industry in Europe" published some days ago by the European Commission.

This action plan puts research, development and innovation in the foreground for maintaining and further developing a strong and vital European steel sector.
This new impulse for R&D&I is well in-line with the new Strategic Research Agenda recently published by ESTEP.
