Companies interested in assisting with the organisation of the IST 99 Information Society Technologies Conference and Exhibition taking place from 22 to 24 November 1999 in Helsinki, Finland, are being sought by the European Commission, DG XIII.

The invitation to tender will include separate provision for the preparation and organisation of the media set-up and press relations for IST 99, including the provision of services for the awards ceremony.

Contractors may bid for one or both lots. Services would be performed on the contractor's premises, except where necessary in Helsinki.

The Commission will dispatch invitations to tender to a limited number of organisations responding to this restricted invitation to tender.
