A prior information notice regarding the provision of informatics and telematics services has been published by the European Commission, DG VI.

The services required cover the provision of technical support and maintenance to a large-scale database application environment for the management of the agriculture market sector (AMIS II), and the implementation, support and extension of data-processing and dissemination facilities for the three areas of the Physan-VI networks (pesticides, common catalogues of varieties and animal feed).

Invitations to tender concerning these services will be published by the Commission before the end of 1999.
