JRC wants access to on-line data banks
The scientific library and documentation service of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre is seeking access to data banks for on-line research within its field of scientific activities. Organisations willing to allow access to such information resources are requested to submit tenders to the JRC. Information sectors covered by this tender include business, information and media, legislation and administration, intellectual property, social and human sciences, medicine, biological sciences and health industry, pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical industry, toxicology, foodstuffs and foodstuffs industry, agriculture, engineering, geo-sciences, materials, metals, physics, chemistry and chemical industry, technology, energy and environment, and additional works of a general nature. The technical specifications for the data-bank directory, research methods and training and assistance for researchers will be specified in the tender documents available from the JRC. Contracts will run for one year with the option of annual renewal for a maximum of five years.
