JRC requires various research services
The European Commission's Joint Research Centre has issued a prior information notice regarding the provision of several research services. These include: assessing the impact of environmental regulation on the competitiveness of the paper and pulp industry; a Euro-Mediterranean science and technology website; a modelling of the interaction between transport, economy and environmental factors at regional level; the impact of genetically modified foods on human health and environment; a model and analysis of the cross-impact of future project results; options for certain agricultural developments in new Member States; building a gateway to the European learning area and the impact of regulation on societal issues. It is expected that an invitation to tender will be published in the third quarter of 1999.
