A range of services for modernising and automating the statistical system concerning the trading of goods between EU Member States is the subject of an invitation to tender published by the Commission's Statistical Office, Eurostat.

As part of the EDICOM (Electronic data interchange on commerce) initiative, the Intrastat system provides access to statistics on the trading of goods between Member States. The services sought include the design, development, classification and elaboration of harmonised methods and procedures. A total of 11 lots are being tendered, and tenderers may apply for one, several, or all lots:
