Oslo innovation and technology website launches on CORDIS
Information about research and innovation activities in Oslo, Norway, is now more accessible following the recent launch of a website hosted by CORDIS and dedicated to research activities in the Oslo region. The site gives useful information about the Norwegian capital's research strategy, and how its policies interact with those of the EU, as well as detailed information about Oslo's research infrastructure. The website also includes a 'spotlights' section dedicated to frequently updated articles, bringing news from the region. The first research area highlighted on the launch site is the RITTS Oslo project, a new project for technology transfer and innovation through a collaboration between Norway and the EU. To visit the new Oslo research and innovation site, go to: http://cordis.europa.eu/oslo/(odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie) From here, you will also find links to related information. It should be noted that Norway is fully associated with the EU's Fifth Framework Programme (and many other EU programmes), on the basis of its membership of the European Economic Area, along with Iceland and Liechtenstein. This means that Norwegian researchers may participate in FP5 projects on essentially the same terms as EU researchers.
