Communicator award for scientists
A personal award for the scientists considered best at presenting their work to the public has been established by Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) who are now inviting applications for the DM 100,000 award. The Communicator Award is funded by the Donors' Association for the Promotion of Sciences and Humanities in Germany. It is addressed to scholars and scientists of all disciplines who communicate the results of their work either through lectures, articles, films or other methods of presentation. Both individual scientists and groups of researchers are eligible, with selection focusing on papers published in German. Applications should contain informative documentation describing the candidates' communication achievement. If the application is submitted by the candidate, a second assessment will be required.
