VIPS: Press Pack: A survey of European innovation
Creating an environment which helps companies of all sizes to innovate is a keystone of EU policy. To achieve this it is necessary to know which firms are innovative and why. The Community Innovation Survey is 'mapping' innovation in Europe. Preliminary results are now available, but the full report should offer clear guidelines for developing an environment in which innovation can benefit both EU prosperity and job creation.
