Calls for proposals for Leonardo da Vinci II
The European Commission's Education and Culture Directorate-General is calling for proposals under the Leonardo da Vinci II programme. This programme contributes to the implementation of EU education policy, which supports and supplements Member States' own activities. The call concerns the following Community measures: - Mobility; - Pilot projects including thematic actions; - Language competencies; - Transnational networks and reference material. (Measures for joint actions will be covered by later calls for proposals). Proposals under Measure 1 (for Mobility) must be submitted by 27 March 2000. Selection of proposals submitted under Measure two (pilot projects and thematic actions), three (language competencies), four (transnational networks) and Measure five (reference material), and those submitted by European organisations (under Measures 2 to 5) will be evaluated in two stages. Pre-proposals must be submitted by 27 March 2000 and following notification of selection, submissions of full proposals will be requested before 7 July 2000. The first call for proposals is valid for three years. A second and third call for proposals will be published in 2002 and 2004.
