Study the storage of radioactive waste
An open invitation to tender has been announced for a study on the storage of radioactive waste in European Union countries and CEEC applicant countries by the Environment Directorate-General. The study should look at the current regulatory framework in place in these countries concerning the legislation on the storage of long-lived low and intermediate level waste as well as high-level waste. A successful application will have a team capable of meeting the requirements of the tender, the study should focus on legal aspects of national regimes (requiring a highly experienced legal member of the team), have financial viability and demonstrate involvement in a network of contacts in some of the countries to be studied.
