Software for the EPO
The European Patent Organisation (EPO) is inviting tenders to develop software for its INPADOC/PRS software conversion project, involving the conversion of mainframe applications to an MVS/UNIX environment. The contract is divided into lots: - Lot 1: MVS legal status data management; - Lot 2: AIX legal status electronic data management (German language required); - Lot 3: MVS legal-status value-added service extracts. All three lots may be awarded to the same bidder, or separately to 2 or 3 bidders. The EPO is an intergovernmental organisation. It was set up after the European Patent Convention entered into force in 1977. The Executive body of the EPO is the European Patent Office which is charged with the searching, examination and granting of applications for European patents.
