Provision of scientific data concerning muskrats
The Trade Directorate-General of the European Commission is set to issue an invitation to tender for a contract to provide scientific data concerning a number of physiological parameters and behavioural indicators in the muskrat. The study is aimed at the on-going development of the trap standards laid down in Annex I of the Agreement on international humane trapping standards between the European Community, Canada and the Russian Federation. The Commission expects award proceedings to begin in October 2000.
