Consultant engineers are being sought by the European Commission for the future construction of a warehouse at the Institute for Reference Materials and Measurements.

They will be required to provide the following services:

- lot 1: compiling an invitation to tender dossier (comprising documents relating to the architecture, installation techniques, quantity surveying, and other documents) within a period of 90 days, on the basis of which the Commission will select a contractor in accordance with current European rules on public contracts. Initially the invitation to tender dossier will be drawn up in four languages (Dutch, English, French and German);

- lot 2: the furnishing of advice on the tenders received within the framework of this invitation to tender. Applications for building permits and works monitoring are also included in the contract.

The Commission requires the warehouse, which will house reference materials, to be constructed on a turnkey basis.
