Health and safety at work in EU applicants
The European Commission's Employment and Social Affairs DG is inviting tenders for the analysis, identification and assessment of health and safety conditions in the EU applicant countries, with which negotiations for membership have already begun. The study should be carried out in both private enterprises and public sector organisations. The study should describe the existing situation and determine the present implementation capacity at the levels of protection prescribed by the Community legislation. This should be done by identifying the existence or non-existence of adequate operational structures allowing for an effective application. The study should also provide objective elements allowing the applicant states to identify their possible needs in this respect.
