JRC releases its 20th publications bulletin
The European Commission's Joint Research Centre has released its 1999 publications bulletin (No. 20, 2000). It includes listings of the JRC's publications in 1999 from: - the institute for reference materials and management; - the institute for transuranium elements; - the institute for advanced materials; - the institute for systems, informatics and safety; - the environment institute; - the space applications institute; - the institute for health and consumer protection; - the institute for prospective technological studies; - JRC general management; Details of JRC patents granted in1999 and statistics are also provide along with an author index. The bulletin distinguishes between reports, articles in international journals, special publications and presentations for conferences. It is intended to complement the JRC annual report and aims to provide an overview of the JRC's scientific and technical activities, 'to be useful as a reference and to stimulate further collaboration between the JRC and national research organisations and industry. At the same time it gives recognition to the JRC scientists who have documented their work through the various types of publications listed,' says JRC Director General H J Allgeier.
