Survey on market observation for the inland water sector
The Directorate general for Energy and Transport will shortly publish a call for tenders for a survey on market observation for the inland water sector 2001 - 2002. The survey shall cover the period 1.1.2001 to 31.12.2002 and is renewable for the following two years (2003 to 2004). The Commission requests information on cost and price developments, flow of goods, rate of utilisation of the capacity, productivity analysis on macro-economic level, average number of waiting days and a forecast of demand for the different inland waterway transport sub-markets. Some 400,000 euro will be available to fund this work over two years.
