The European Commission plans to organise selection procedures in the near future to draw up reserve lists to recruit highly qualified scientific staff for research activities in Joint Research Centre Institutes. The official text of this call notice should be published this month.

Positions will be advertised in the following fields:

- COM/R/A/16/2000 Head of unit for the nuclear chemistry unit (career bracket A3 S/T)

and

- COM/R/A/17/2000 Principle scientific officer (career bracket A4 S/T).
