MEP supports Commission's inter-modal transport initiative
The European Commission's aim of developing an integrated Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) will be welcomed in a report presented to the European Parliament by Italian MEP Adriana Poli Bortone on 17 January. The Commission's initiative involves the development of electronic commerce application systems. Mr Poli-Bortone will call for more resources to develop the system, and in the future would also like to see the establishment of an electronic delivery system.
