New-look BRITE/EURAM site offers more exploitable results on production and transport technologies
CORDIS, the European Commission's R&D (research and development) information service, provides a more user-friendly access to Fourth Framework programme (FP4) results in the field of manufacturing and transport technologies. The web site for Industrials & Materials Technologies (BRITE/EURAM 3) programme has been revamped and offers more dynamic access to funded projects, latest available exploitable research results and publications. This programme concentrated on priority industrial objectives and intends to facilitate the rapid use of results. CORDIS already offers more than 270 exploitable results, covering manufacturing technologies, materials, design, and transport projects (aeronautics, automobiles, ships and trains). New results will be made available as soon as research projects are completed. The site will benefit those looking to exploit research results for spin off or to participate in the 'competitive and sustainable growth' of the Fifth Framework programme under which new research activities in these fields are being implemented.
