Adaptation to the new economy within the framework of social dialogue
The European Commission plans to call for proposals for the support of innovative measures that seek to promote new approaches and identify examples of good practice which can subsequently improve the implementation of operations supported by the European social fund (ESF). Actions must be trans-national in scope, i.e. directed at staff of enterprises in two or more Member States within the framework of social dialogue. Actions might concern the development of new methods, tools and approaches; the transfer of experience and good practice; the formulation of new objectives including identification of new qualifications and the opening up of new areas of the labour market as well as system development in or around the labour market. Projects may start between 1 September and 1 December 2001 for a maximum duration of 24 months. Projects must end at the latest by 30 November 2003. Some 20,000,000 euro is available to fund the work. The Commission plans to publish related calls for proposals in February 2001. Details will be posted, when available, on the Employment and ESF website: URL: http://europa.eu.int/comm/dgs/employment_social/tender_en.htm(odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)
