CORDIS, the European Commission's Research & Development Information Service, provides a more user-friendly access to Fourth Framework programme (FP4) results in the field of non-nuclear energy technologies. The web site for the JOULE programme has been revamped and offers more dynamic access to funded projects, latest available exploitable research results and publications. This programme concentrated on improving energy security as well as reducing the impact of the production and use of energy, in particular the emissions of CO2. CORDIS offers exploitable results, covering projects on energy strategy, rational use of energy, renewable energy sources and fossil fuels. New results will be made available as soon as research projects are completed. This site can prove useful for all innovation players willing to exploit research results for spin off or to participate in the current 'Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development' of the Fifth Framework programme under which new research activities in these fields are being implemented.and 10
