Agreement between Euratom and USA
Meeting in Brussels on 8 March, environment Ministers adopted a Decision approving an agreement for cooperation in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy between the European atomic energy community and the USA represented by the Commission and the US department of energy respectively. The agreement provides for cooperation in nuclear energy research and development, including research on controlled thermo-nuclear fusion.
