INCO programme calls for proposals for accompanying measures
The European Commission's Research Directorate-General is calling for proposals for accompanying measures within the programme confirming the international role of Community research' under the Fifth Framework programme. Proposals are invited under a continuous submission scheme, which will be evaluated following the respective deadlines for receipt. Proposals are invited for the following accompanying measures of INCO A1 and INCO A2 (conference participation support): - A1: States in the phase of pre-accession to the European Union (deadlines 16.3.2001 16.7.2001 16.11.2001 15.3.2002 16.7.2002). Approximately 0.5 million euro is available for the overall period. - A2: newly independent states and central and eastern European countries not in the pre-accession phase (deadlines: same as for the States in the phase of pre-accession to the European Union). Approximately 1.5 million euro is available for the overall period. Proposals are invited for the following accompanying measures of INCO A3 and INCO A4, A5 and C1: - A3: Mediterranean and partner countries deadlines: 16.3.2001 16.7.2001 16.11.2001 15.3.2002 16.7.2002. Approximately 1.3 million euro is available for the overall period. - A4: Research for development (deadlines are the same as for the Mediterranean partner counties). Approximately 4.5 million euro is available for the overall period. - A5: Emerging economies and industrialised countries (deadlines 18.6.2001 16.10.2001 18.2.2002 and 17.6.2002). Approximately 3 million euro is available for the overall period. - A5: Multilateral research coordination - poverty related diseases (Deadline 17.9.2001) Approximately 0.8 million euro is available. - C1: Coordination with Member States - poverty related diseases (deadline 15.6.2001). Approximately 1.1 million euro is available.
