Employment and Social Affairs DG - notification of 2001 calls
The European Commission's Employment and social affairs Directorate-General has given prior notification of a call for tenders for various types of public procurement contracts. The following contracts will be available: - study on the labour market impact of enlargement on the border regions lasting 12 months; - study of the likely effects of the development of best available technologies on the volume and quality of employment lasting 15 months; - study of the role of human and social capital in the creation of more and better jobs lasting 12 months; - study on undeclared work and the informal economy lasting 12 months; - study on social exclusion and employment in the EU lasting 12 months; - study on regional labour market projections lasting 12 months; - peer review of active labour market policies from 2002 until 2003 lasting 24 months; - study on the impact of the European employment strategy lasting 6 months; - study on the unemployment benefit system and their interaction with active labour market lasting 12 months; - study on ageing and employment: labour market potential of older people in a knowledge-based society and implications for active ageing policies, lasting 12 months; - econometric study on the impact of the European employment strategy lasting 9 months. The estimated value of the total contract is 3,650,000 euro.
