International conference on mass and charge transport in inorganic materials -proceedings available
Proceedings from the first international conference on mass and charge transport in inorganic materials are now available. The conference, held in Venice from 28 May to 2 June 2000, attracted over 200 contributions from experts from more than 30 countries and addressed the latest developments in the understanding of fundamentals of mass and charge transport in inorganic materials as well as in the role played by transport phenomena in several aspects of materials processing and application engineering. The two volume conference proceedings collect most of the papers presented. Volume one includes fundamental matters related to mass and charge transport mechanisms. Volume two explains the role of transport in materials reactivity, synthesis, processing, microstructure and property development, and offers examples of application of transport studies to industrial devices. s par
